Golden Trout Senior Dog Food

If 1 human year is 7 dog years it makes sense to think differently about feeding dogs in their later years, we recommend around 7 years old (the human version this time!) is the time to offer something to help maintain a spring in the step and brightness of eyes and minds. 50% trout and salmon contributing lean, digestible protein and high levels of omega 3 while the grain free formulation with vegetables including sweet potato and asparagus is easy on the stomach as well as tasting great (sensory perception can decline in older dogs). The high omega 3 (and low omega 6:3 ratio) combines with our joint care package of glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM to help support healthy joints with L-carnitine helping retain lean muscle mass while burning fat. The high omega 3 and antioxidant levels also offer support for cognitive function into advancing years.

Any new food should be gradually introduced over 7-10 days, initially mixing 80:20 original:new food and changing the ratio every 24-48 hours.
